During our many travels around Michigan and the
mid-west, I have started sketch book journaling the places we visit. My goal is to do a quick ink sketch and watercolor to capture the time we spent at each location. I try to capture a small bit of information about the location, it’s history or an interesting fact. I include the weather of that day as well, because in Michigan you never know what that day might be like. Since starting this practice we have traveled south as well, so more to come…
